Safilo participated with Polaroid Polarized Sunglasses in the official Latin Grammy Awards 2013 gift lounge in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay from November 18th – 20th. In this space, we had the opportunity to take pictures of onsite eyewear fittings with talent who were invited to come through the lounge. Ultimately, these images were used to generate additional press exposure tied to the Polaroid Polarized Sunglasses brand amongst U.S. Hispanic, select U.S. and Latin American media.” Talent that walked through the gift lounge included Becky G, Maluma, Aleks Syntek, Alejandra Espinoza, Jesse y Joy, Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler, Miguel Bose, Natalia Laforcade, among others.
Two LINKS representatives attended gift lounge to coordinate on site logistics and represent
Polaroid Polarized Sunglasses brand. Booth was set up on Sunday, November 17th in conjunction with the preparation of gift bags with Polaroid Polarized Sunglasses. Local media was invited in advance to attend the gift lounge. Worked closely with photographer to set up key photography shots with talent wearing Polaroid eyeglasses while getting on site fittings. Fulfilled live interview requests for TV, online and print on behalf of Polaroid Polarized Sunglasses. Managed Solstice Sunglasses team members and made sure that all models were appropriately written down along with the celebrity or VIP name that received the sunglasses. Encouraged celebrities and talent to follow Polaroid Polarized Sunglasses on social media. Selected PR selects every evening and also made sure that they were appropriately captioned. Created tailored pitches every day and coupled them with the PR selects for real time pitching to several U.S. based Hispanic focused media outlets, Latin American media and select U.S. celebrity/entertainment print and online outlets. Followed up with all media that attended the gifting lounge and media pitched during and after the event.
